Apartments Ana

Konoba Mare turned out to be a real find, with the best food in the area. The owner served us personally and treated us to rakia, which made the stay nicer. We also enjoyed meeting Stefan from Primosten. We went back to his place twice for his tasty wine, delicious olive oil and squid, and at one point they'd run out of wine, which shows how much we liked it. The apartment itself left us with mixed feelings. Its location was a plus, with lovely surroundings and close to the center. Mrs. Ann baked us a cake and gave us figs, which we appreciated, but she wasn't very friendly and the atmosphere felt uncomfortable. The bathroom was neglected, with mold in the shower, a dirty towel and cobwebs on the ceiling. The garden we were told we could use was overgrown, and one of the owners sat there, so we felt watched. Our room was separated from Mrs. Ann's apartment by only a thin mattress, which made us uneasy.
