Apartments Lovas

That sunset over Vodice bay from the hill is right in front of you, with the city below. We’ve been coming for six years and still love it. Four apartments on the first and second floors look out to sea; the ground floor is shadier. The beach is about 1.5 km away on foot, and the walk back uphill can be tiring. The contact person is ready to help with anything. The place has cutlery, plates, glasses and pots, but no microwave, toaster or coffee machine. Bring small kitchen tools like a garlic press or paring knife. The air conditioning is in the living room and kitchen, so the bedroom doors need to stay open if you want those rooms cooled. There’s a washing machine in the basement, but only a drying rack there, not one for the apartments. You might want to bring a diaper dryer or buy one locally for 15 Euros. There’s a grill terrace beside the house, with a gas grill and a built-in chimney grill, though both need cleaning before use. Cleanliness isn’t perfect either, and I end up doing some cleaning myself every year.
