We can’t recommend Villa Slavica and won’t return. Our reservation inquiry for 2026 was handled in a confusing and opaque way. Although we wrote every email in English, the owner kept responding in Croatian without explanation or translation. The replies were vague, and we were told our booking could not be accepted instead of receiving a clear answer about availability. Only later did it become apparent that the reservation was being refused altogether, supposedly because of “internal organization” and a policy against accepting groups. That was never made clear at the start, and this communication felt unprofessional and inappropriate for international guests. This was especially surprising because we had stayed at Villa Slavica in 2023 and 2024. The accommodation itself was decent overall, but the 2024 stay ended badly. A roughly 2 cm piece chipped off the edge of the induction cooktop, which had already been cracked before the incident. Even so, we had to pay 150 EUR for a whole new cooktop. There was no discussion or proportional solution, and no consideration of the prior damage or actual cause. We also never received an invoice or official receipt for either the accommodation or the compensation. We bought olive oil directly from the owner for 200 EUR as well, again without any receipt or documentation. Be aware that if something small breaks or stops working, such as a door, you may be charged for replacing the whole item regardless of its previous condition or normal wear and tear. Between the unclear messages, the unexplained refusal, and the way damage and payments were handled, we can’t recommend staying here.

We felt safe and at home in these modern apartments. They’re super clean, with friendly owners, easy parking, a beautiful garden, and new, quiet air conditioning. The apartment itself is peaceful too. A supermarket is a two-minute walk away, and it’s five minutes to both the beach and city center. Thank you, Slavica!

The owner is very friendly, and it’s a quiet place with a big parking area. The room is clean and comfortable. There’s A/C in the bedroom and living room, plus a TV, dining table for 3, and a kitchen with a dishwasher, coffee maker, and microwave oven. The living room opens onto a balcony with another small table and 2 chairs.

The beach is just three minutes away, but there’s also a lawn in front of the house with four loungers and a stone barbecue for days you don’t feel like going there. Parking is available, and the owners are friendly. This is my second visit with my family. Prices aren’t the lowest, though the cleanliness and tidy room make up for it. They clean and replace the towels with fresh, crisp white ones every two days. There’s air conditioning and a TV with HDMI, so you can connect your Strambox online and watch something before bed.
