The apartment looks stylish, and most of what the website lists is there. Still, a few things didn't work, including the LCD TV and the ice maker, which had frozen up. We booked for six, but the kitchen didn't have enough chairs for everyone. On a rainy morning we had to eat breakfast standing up. The pool was there, though it seemed to be for the hosts' acquaintances and their visiting children and grandchildren, who came in large numbers. There's nothing wrong with them visiting, but guests renting the apartments should be treated equally. I even had to invite myself along to the local market in Šibenik and ask the landlady for a “cooking workshop.” I felt like an intruder who'd invited herself into a random family home. That wasn't the fantastic family atmosphere we'd been led to expect.
