The views were amazing, and the resort had excellent rooms and facilities that made it easy to unwind. We stayed for 8 days and had a wonderful time. What stood out most was the staff: friendly, very professional, and always checking that we were having the best experience. Executive chef Filip put a lot of effort into making our meals special, using local produce and the day’s catches. The whole team made the stay feel even better. I’d highly recommend it.

We had dinner at the restaurant every night and were really pleased with the food and wine choices. The service is what made the whole stay so relaxing. From arrival, people greeted us with warmth and smiles, parked the car, helped unload our things, and showed us to a beautiful, clean room. There are two pools as well. We stayed for 5 nights, and it was just what we wanted from a calm, restful break with delicious food and a very high level of service on the Croatian coast. The outside surroundings weren’t the most stylish or highly finished I’ve seen, but it didn’t matter to us. Everything about the welcome and service felt luxurious. I wish I could give more than five stars!

The rooms are spacious, look very new, and were in perfect condition. It’s a small, private resort with around 20 guests and 20 staff, so you don’t have to wait for a spa appointment, and staff will take care of pretty much any request. Getting a drink at the pool bar, though, could take as long as 30 minutes, for reasons I didn’t fully understand. The outdoor pool felt a bit too cold for me in August. Dinner was very nice, but some dishes seemed a little expensive for their quality. A 25 EUR beef tartar felt perfectly fair, maybe even cheap, but 55 EUR for a mediocre Slovenian Ribeye that didn’t really seem like ribeye felt too expensive.

We’ve stayed at plenty of hotels in Croatia, and this was one of the best. It felt like a complete experience, and from the gate until we left, we felt at home. Reception was ready to take our luggage and park the car, with welcome drinks and an easy check-in. The grounds were amazing, with the sea and hills to explore on foot, a garden, a creek, an infinity pool and bar, plus a wonderful restaurant. The food was so good, and reasonably priced compared with many places in Croatia these days. They also had boats for excursions if arranged in advance, and we made use of all the spa amenities. The staff were so kind that the hotel director showed us around and shared a historical story about Casa Nova porting in the harbor, and drinking from a creek he drank from. When we left, they let us check out very late so we could walk up the hill to the mother Mary statue. Our only regret is that we spent less than 24 hours there. Thank you!!!! We will be back!
