A nice place for a Croatian summer, though the uphill walk back from the beach is a bit of a struggle.

Set in a lovely historic part of town, this apartment pairs a well-kept old exterior with a renovated interior that can sleep up to six. There are three double beds, two on sofa beds in the living room and one in the bedroom. Getting there by car can be tiring because the road is quite steep. There’s no parking at the house, but tenants get a parking permit for a spot about 400 meters away. The other downside is that there’s no dishwasher.

Parking really matters here, since finding a space in the area at night is a nightmare. We had a great stay, and the price was fair. The apartments are renovated, new, spotlessly clean and have plenty of high-tech features, including security. I’ve asked around, and other places don’t seem to offer all of this, especially that level of cleanliness. We always eat out.

After many years of coming to Vrsar and staying in lots of apartments, this is easily my favorite. It’s beautifully finished, recently renovated and has everything you need, in a great location.
