The host was so kind. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone traveling to Vukovar.

A couple of useful things to know: this building isn’t accessible for people with disabilities, and apartment 2 is up in the attic, reached by climbing 31 steps to the second level. The largest space is the living room and kitchen, with the only air conditioning and the only window with a view. It has a well-equipped kitchen with a large fridge, a sofa, a small TV, and a table with four chairs. The bathroom has a shower and water heater. There are two single beds in the bedroom, but take care not to let it get too hot. We parked beside the compound on the road under a leafy tree. The manager kept to himself. There’s a corridor where the apartment can be extended with three more bedrooms and one shared bathroom, available to rent separately. WiFi was reasonably good, and the 1991 War Memorial and Water Tower are within walking distance.

The host was very polite and kind, and the setting suited the price range. Service was okay.

Really untidy, with loads of ants and cockroaches.
