I called without warning after finding the place online just five minutes before I arrived, and a very nice woman made room for me without any trouble. It had been busy the day before, so I'd suggest booking ahead. This is a hostel, not a hotel, but I'd still give it five stars. The shared rooms are modern and very clean, with free wifi, a coin-operated coffee machine, and a private parking lot. It's newly refurbished and right in central Vukovar, beside a historic church. It might appeal more to a much younger crowd, but for me it was an excellent value. I was the only guest, so I had the whole place to myself for the price of one bed.

After a five-day, 400 km (approx. 250 mi) bicycle trip, a friend and I reached Hostel 101 Dalmatinac at 21:40 on 26th June. The door was locked, even though a sign said the hours were 0 - 24. I called the number on the door, and the woman told me booking hours had ended at 7 P.M. and that we should go somewhere else. I was furious. The hostel was completely empty, including the parking lot. Rude and unprofessional behaviour.
