After reading the reviews, we were a little unsure, but we ended up having a fantastic stay in a small room with everything we needed, right in the old city center. The earlier manager hadn’t looked after this lovely place, so don’t go by those old comments. Get in touch with Paula, the new manager. She’s the best.

The location was good and the mattress was comfortable, but the rest of the stay was a nightmare because the place wasn’t managed well. On arrival, we found dead bugs all over the walls, a dirty floor, mold in the bathroom, and a broken nightstand. We killed around 80 flies a day. When we tried to reach the manager, we got no response. It could be a cute place if it were looked after, but it wasn’t. I wouldn’t recommend it. Stay somewhere else.

We had half board, with breakfast and dinner at OX Meet & Eat restaurant, and the food was great. The staff were extra nice and ready to help with anything we needed. The rooms felt modern and fancy, and were extremely clean and cosy, with really comfortable, five-star beds. It’s an adorable place in the very center of the Old town, close to restaurants, bars, and shops. Highly recommended. Tip: book early to get a good price.

The entrance is a little complicated, but it didn’t make the rooms any less enjoyable. The location on the Peninsula is hard to beat, and pets are welcome.
