The host was quick to respond and helpful, and the place felt like good value. We were right in the old town, with everything an easy walk away. Our room was comfortable, and the air conditioning was a real relief in the heat. The bathroom was shared by three rooms but stayed clean, and we had no problems using it.

The waterfront was only three minutes away, so I watched the sunset there every night. I liked the calm atmosphere and the good company, even though the guesthouse seemed to draw an older crowd. In my 30s, that suited me fine. The clean rooms were quiet and peaceful, well equipped, and nicer than the photos suggest. Marin, the owner, is a nice guy, though at times I could have used more information or advice. My only reason for taking off a star is the lack of recycling. I’d recommend it.

The shared spaces were spotless and comfortable, and my bedroom felt clean and homely. It’s in a central spot, and the host was friendly enough to let us use his computer to print our boarding passes. I’d recommend staying here.

The building is close to Zadar’s old town center and the Sea Organ. The rooms were clean, and the staff helped us find the place by texting pictures of the street and the doors we needed to enter.
