Our little patio was such a lovely spot, especially with the church bells in the background. We felt safe leaving most of our luggage in the car, which was parked for free about a five-minute walk away. The location in Zadar was just right, and the host was lovely. When we arrived, we got a map and tips on the best restaurants. Couldn't have asked for a sweeter place to stay.

We used the bus from the airport, which costs 25kn each way, takes cash, and runs hourly. Stay on until it reaches the old town. Cash is common around here, and plenty of places won't take cards or contactless, so bring some with you. Our apartment suited our Zadar city break perfectly and was very reasonably priced. The host was super helpful, and the listing photos were clear and honest, so I didn't add any of my own. You're right in the old town, among the charming narrow lanes. The nearby beaches are lovely and take 5 to 15 minutes to reach on foot, or about 5 minutes by bike. They're pebbly, so bring beach shoes. Zuum bike hire is literally next door. Zadar is a treasure trove, with something to see, hear, taste, touch, and smell around every corner.
