The owners were friendly, and we had a clean, pleasant room with a balcony. There’s no shared kitchen, though some rooms have an oven. It’s also not far from the main bus station.

The garden was great, and we liked being a little way out from Zadar. It’s about a ten-minute walk to the main bus station. Our room was good and had modern air conditioning, and the host let us check in much earlier because our bus arrived very early.

We booked through hostelworld and found the place tidy and clean. The host seemed friendly, though we didn’t talk much. There was air conditioning in the room, but not much ventilation otherwise. It’s around a 15-minute walk to Kolovare beach and 20 minutes to the old town. There aren’t many places to eat nearby.

Fine for a night or as a base for a day or two of travel, but I wouldn’t choose it for a week. Our room was okay, though we had no running water in the morning because there was apparently a problem. Check-in was pleasant and the staff were friendly.

The room was lovely and just as described, but it’s across town. We took a taxi both ways. I’d recommend it to travellers with a car.
