Ana made us feel welcome right away and shared useful ideas for visiting Zadar, Nin Town, and its sandy beach. We spent five nights at Apartments Villa Ida and were happy with the whole stay. The apartment was spotless and in a great spot, with a huge comfortable bed and a sofa bed that worked well for a child. The kitchen had everything, plus air conditioning and a snug little terrace where we liked sitting outside. Tea, coffee, and sugar were provided too. We were told to avoid the tap water because of a recent flooding issue, though it seemed to have been dealt with. Ana was kind and dependable throughout. We'd gladly recommend the place.

The location worked well, and we loved Purro the cat. Ana and her boys were lovely and arrived on time, but the apartment we got wasn't the one we'd booked. I chose the blue-kitchen unit because it was all on one level, as I have mobility issues. Instead, ours had a split level, a mezzanine bedroom, and steps down to the kitchen. The hard main bed drove us to the sofa bed, which was a little better but still uncomfortable. It was tucked under the stairs, so it wasn't easy to get to either. There were stains on the kitchen wall, and we couldn't find a kettle, toaster, or adaptor. The lack of comfort and decent sleep ended up ruining our holiday in beautiful Zadar.

A really handy base for Zadar. The apartment is spacious and has what you need, and the bridge into the Old Town is very close.

Ana was a very good host. The place is close to the old town, with a garden and parking, and there's a grocery shop just around the corner.

The host took time to explain everything, which was great. It's a good spot, right by a lovely coffee place, and the boat to the old city takes just a minute.
