Aquamarine The Sea View Apartment

Loris let us leave our baggages in the flat until 14h, which was so handy on our last day. He was always available by phone, and it meant we didn't have to worry about our things while we finished our 14 day holiday in Zadar. The apartment was one of our favorite places we stayed in. It's huge, beautifully decorated, and has everything you need, including a washing machine and dishwasher. The views take in the sea and Zadar's main attraction, the Sea Organ. We didn't find the city as charming as other Croatian towns like Dubrovnik and Split, but we couldn't have ended our trip in a better place!

We were lucky to find a parking spot almost right in front of the apartment, though it was 10 kunas per hour. Parking could be tricky, but the description makes the fees clear, so it wasn't a problem for us. We stayed three nights with our two kids during our Croatia round trip. The apartment was nicely furnished and well equipped, and we enjoyed having our sunset aperitif on the two little balconies every day. The location is right in the old town, with great views of the sunset and sea organ. Everything is within walking distance, though there aren't any big supermarkets close by. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the apartment.

The location was excellent, and the apartment was very nice, clean, and well proportioned for two couples. Check-in and check-out were easy, and all in all it was great accommodation. A few things could be improved. We arrived after 10 pm and there wasn't a supermarket open nearby, so it would've been nice to find some water in the apartment. The metallic water heater smelled really bad, so we couldn't use it. A glass one would be more hygienic. There were no mosquito nets or repellents, either. The bedroom facing the sea could be quite noisy at night if you sleep lightly with the windows open. Being so close to the Sea Organ means people are going back and forth and partying on the promenade at all hours.

We already miss sitting on our north-facing balcony and watching the amazing sunset over the Adriatic Sea. The harbor entrance view and the never-ending song from the “Sea Organ” made our stay at Aqua Marine Apartment a great part of an absolutely wonderful visit to Croatia. We'll come back!
