The staff were the worst part. Whenever we raised the cleaning issue, they gave excuses and blamed it on us supposedly needing to leave them our room key. Nobody had told us about the cleaning routine, so the room went several days without being cleaned. In a 9 day stay, they cleaned it once. They seemed dismissive and lacked both the willingness and competence to do the job properly. When we first arrived, the room hadn't been properly cleaned. It was hot and moist, like walking into a rainforest. The shower looked like it had just been used, and the balcony hadn't been cleaned. We had no soap, the shower pressure was laughably weak, and the toilet seat leaned far to the right. The room was cleaned only once during the whole visit, after repeated complaints. Coming back to dirty towels strewn around, overflowing trash bins, and an unmade bed was utterly unacceptable. This stay at the hotel was a nightmare. The lack of soap, poor cleanliness, and facilities that didn't work, together with staff who made excuses instead of providing service, made it a place I'd avoid. I wish we'd chosen somewhere that valued its guests' comfort and satisfaction.
