Dedaj Resort - Villa Auri

The apartments are really nice and thoughtfully laid out. The owners are very kind too. A great place, and I’d highly recommend it.

I don’t usually write reviews, but it would’ve been a sin not to say something about this perfect villa. We found Villa Auri while looking through hotels and their photos in Zadar. The pictures looked perfect, and after reading all the reviews, we decided to go right away. We weren’t disappointed. It was everything people had described, and more. The apartment was spotless and luxuriously furnished. The beach is only a few meters away, and you can look out at it while sunbathing on the terrace by the pool. The staff and owner were also very approachable and pleasant. I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable vacation. I’ll definitely come back!

The garden is lovely, with two cute turtles, and the view of Borik Beach from the pool area is stunning, especially at sunset. The beach is just a few steps away, with nice restaurants and bars within walking distance. It’s a 10-minute drive to the center, or about a 30-minute walk. There’s convenient private parking if you bring a car. The house is gorgeous and stylish, with a fantastic pool area, comfortable sunbeds and seating, and a little pool bar we loved. Every detail is beautiful and well decorated. The apartments are clean, comfortable, and well equipped, with plenty of space for your things. They provide everything from beach towels to salt and pepper, and the air conditioning is amazing. The whole family are such lovely, warm, kind people. We were so sad to leave after 10 days and would have loved to stay for weeks. We’ve traveled to many nice places as a family, but we’ve never felt so welcome or enjoyed a stay like this one. We miss this special place a lot and truly want to come back. It’s not just the luxurious perfection, it’s the soul of the house and family. Thank you so much.

The location made it easy to enjoy the area. Borik beach, one of the best in Zadar, is only a few steps away, with pebbles or sand to choose from. There are plenty of good restaurants within walking distance, including Šime restaurant, which had the best pizza. You can also walk to Zadar old town in 30 minutes. Parking on the property is included in the price, which is a real plus. We felt at home in the immaculate apartment, with its top-quality furniture and equipment. The whole Dedaj family went out of their way to make our stay special. Thank you, Mrs. Dedaj, Mr. Dedaj, and Martina for the warm welcome and all the attention. We’ll cherish the experience. The villa has an award for the best architecture in Croatia, and we can see why. The second-floor common area has a beautiful pool, a self-serve café/bar, seating, and a wonderful view of Borik beach. We enjoyed Nespresso coffee on the large terrace every morning, looking out at the view and pool. Our son especially loved the two pet turtles on the property. The rooms are spotless and really comfortable. Everything is modern, with thoughtful touches, from the fresh-smelling sheets to the fully equipped kitchenette. We had such a great time that we’ve already booked our next visit for August. We got to see one of the newly finished two-bedroom apartments, and it’s absolutely perfect.
