Destino City Apartments

The landlord was quick and great to communicate with, and even lent me a stand-up paddleboard, which was a lot of fun. The apartment is also in a quiet spot, just a five-minute walk from the old town. Inside, it’s very modern, with air-conditioning, fresh-air ventilation, a Bose sound bar, and a PlayStation. The kitchen is fully equipped, the bed was as comfortable as beds in well-known five-star hotels worldwide, and the bathroom has a huge walk-in shower with a nice overhead rain shower. I’d recommend it to anyone who wants to stay comfortably close to the city.

The rooms are compact, but laid out efficiently, and we had no trouble staying there with two adults and a 5-year-old. They’re modern, clean, and well stocked, with beach towels, fresh and instant coffee, bottled water, and a PlayStation. The shower has strong pressure and gets very hot, with both overhead and handheld options. There’s free on-site parking, including an underground space if you’d like to keep the car out of the sun.

We had a parking spot right outside the building, and the place felt luxurious, with modern equipment, a Bose sound system, air-conditioning, and an air filter. The beds were proper ones, the bathroom was great, and the kitchen had everything we needed. It’s all thought through, right down to the PlayStation and extra beach towels. Couldn’t have picked a better place.

The staff were super helpful, and the location worked well for us, about a 10-minute walk to the old town and 1 km, or 15 minutes on foot, from the bus station. We stayed in room 5, whose door opens right onto the outdoor walking path. An upper floor might have suited us better, but the tinted windows meant people outside couldn’t see in, so it wasn’t a big issue. The room was spacious and new, with a kitchen, good Wi-Fi, and excellent air-conditioning that was a real relief in the summer heat. For us, it was good value.
