We hired a car and found plenty to enjoy beyond the hotel, though the nearby area only kept us occupied for about a day. The outdoor pools looked great, but in May the unheated ones were too cold for most people. That left everyone packed into the single heated pool. We also noticed guests saving loungers with towels for long stretches; staff should clear them when nobody is using them. The hotel is very clean, with a strong wellness area, an indoor pool and lots of parking. Kids are well catered for, and adults can relax with a drink. The familiar Falkensteiner setup was reassuring, since we’ve stayed at several of its Austrian hotels. Food was a letdown compared with those Austrian stays. Some evenings seemed off: the hot carrots tasted frozen, and the turkey looked good under the heat lamp but was very dry without sauce. There weren’t many warm side dishes either, and the same few choices got repetitive after a couple of nights. Our room was clean, but the decor felt unfinished. Both sofas had bedspreads instead of proper cushions, which looked cheap for a four-star place. Nearly all the shower soap dispensers were empty, and even after we told housekeeping three times, they stayed that way. Avoid rooms near the children’s funfair if noise bothers you. It carried up to at least the second floor, and our kids’ room was right by the door. A solid, clean stay overall, but we’d lower our food expectations and bring cushions next time.

We spent seven lovely days here with our two daughters. The facilities, food and atmosphere were all great, but Davor and Advance from the children’s entertainment team made the biggest impression. The girls took to them straight away. They’re warm, energetic and funny, and they make each child feel noticed. Our daughters woke up eager to find them every morning, which says a lot. The kids’ club became a real highlight of the holiday, not just somewhere to pass the time. Thanks for such a magical week. Davor and Advance are a big reason we’d come back.

The staff made this stay feel especially welcoming. Every interaction was kind and accommodating, and Marija, the Assistant Restaurant Manager, was consistently attentive and proactive. She helped arrange food to suit our requests, which we really appreciated. Roku at the pizza counter also gave us great service. We’re still staying here, and so far it’s been a wonderful experience. Our room is comfortable, and we were pleasantly surprised by a complimentary upgrade. The children’s entertainment is excellent too. Advance is especially talented at acrobatics, and the kids love him. We’ve had several relaxing, professionally done massages, and the spa services have been excellent. The food is okay for vegetarians, though more variety would help. We’re leaving with very positive memories and gratitude for the staff. We’d happily recommend the resort and would love to return.

There was plenty for the children to do, and the family activities felt well organized. The animation team brought so much warmth and energy, and they were funny and wonderful with the kids. They created a safe, happy atmosphere each day. The staff were kind and helpful, and we enjoyed the delicious food and good variety. We had an amazing stay and plan to come back this summer. I really hope the same animation team is there. A great family holiday, love you guys. :)
