The staff were kind and supportive, and made a real effort to look after us. They were especially helpful with a couple of requests. I liked the outdoor area too, where people chatted and had drinks late into the evening. It draws a nice crowd. The hostel needs a facelift and some upgrades. The kitchen is getting worn, there's no shower head holder so it's awkward to use, and the beds were particularly uncomfortable. Springs pushed through the mattress on most of them, and I didn't sleep comfortably. New mattresses are really needed. I hope they take that feedback on board. I would have liked to rate it higher because the team was so welcoming, but the place needs work to modernize and improve its facilities.

It was simple, but from the minute I arrived they made me feel like part of the family. I was only there for 3 nights and could easily have stayed longer if I could. What a great hostel. Thank you, big love xxx #no tears 😏

We only stayed one night. The hostel was good, and the host was friendly.

Apparently the place has been shut for over a year. I booked after hotels.com showed me a secret price, then got stranded and left waiting. They'd disconnected the phones and had no internet.

The hostel was clean and nice, and the guy at the desk was friendly and helpful. ;-)
