The room and bathroom were all right, though the WiFi barely worked. The family were having a celebration at the house and invited us to dinner. They were such warm, lovely people. They spoke very little English, but we still had a great time together.

The owners were friendly, although they didn’t speak Italian or English. They kept trying German, and after a while we managed to understand each other, at least for the basics. The place was fairly comfortable, and the centre is about a five-minute drive away. The bathroom is small but decent. There’s no air conditioning, which would have been useful in August.

The hostess was extremely kind, though cleanliness was only mediocre and the WiFi signal wasn’t reliable.
