Villa Irena

The staff were friendly and professional, and there are a few lovely beaches nearby. We found the apartment very comfortable, with everything needed for a relaxing holiday. From the balcony, there's a nice view towards the sea.

The place was okay apart from a few issues, and the staff were helpful. The toilet wouldn't flush, and there was a horrible smell coming from the shower drain. The room felt a bit odd, and its light was already broken when we arrived. The receptionist was nice about it and sent someone to fix it, but it still flickered afterwards. It's beside a beach, though about a 40-minute walk into town. Taxis are cheap. I wouldn't really recommend it.

The room was very basic and looked like it hadn't been updated since the 90s. There weren't any bedside lamps or shampoo and body wash. You can hear the neighbors in an old hotel like this, and the gaps under the doors let noise from people walking around through. It's about an hour's walk to the center. I'd only recommend staying here if money is really tight or you're having trouble finding somewhere else.

There was plenty of space, plus a kitchen and balcony. The toilet didn't flush properly, and there was some mold in the shower. Its sprayer points sideways at the door, with no way to angle it down into the shower. Getting to the city center takes around 40 minutes on foot, or you may have a long wait for the bus if you miss it. We ended up taking Uber most of the time.
