The location was one of the best parts: three minutes from the main bus station, a 20-minute walk to the old town, and 10 minutes to the beach. We stayed in the loft studio, where the sleeping area sits above the main space. It’s nicely designed, with thoughtful details and a modern feel. There’s a little porch out front for morning coffee, evening wine, or sunbathing. Everything was clean, and the kitchen had plenty of plates, glasses, and utensils, plus a big enough fridge. There’s no reception, so everything is handled online, and the keys are left in a locker. Check-out at 10 am felt early, while check-in at 15:00 felt late.

Misleading! The apartments are behind McDonald’s, and you literally have to queue at Mcdrive to get into the apartment parking lot. The smell from McDonald’s made it impossible to open the windows. You can’t dry clothes in the sun without them smelling like burgers. It was very noisy from the busy road and McDonald’s. Worst experience in Croatia. The bedsheets had blood stains, and there was hair everywhere.

The downside was the street noise, which I could still hear with every window shut. The place is very close to the bus station and right next to McDonald’s. There are lots of markets nearby, and the sea is walkable.

Supermarkets are very close, and depending on which beach you choose, it’s around a 15-20 minute walk. Walking to the old town takes about 30 minutes at an average pace. The apartment is near a road, so there was some traffic noise, and the wifi could be slow sometimes. Before arrival, communication was excellent, and the key lock was easy to use. I didn’t notice noise from the neighboring apartments.

The walks were pleasant and felt safe, even after dark. Two beaches are within a 10-minute walk, and one has a lifeguard. It takes about 20-30 minutes on foot to reach the old town or city center, depending on where you’re headed, and it’s an easy route. This is especially convenient if you arrive by bus and mainly want to enjoy the beach. McDonald’s and Konzum are next door, with Interspar across the road. Check-in and checkout are quick and self-service. They sent all the details ahead of time and communicated really well.
