2014-06-12: The room’s air conditioning was great, and there were no bed bugs. I was in a standard double room. It was small but had enough space, with a desk, two night stands, a clothing cabinet, and a light switch by the bed so I could turn the lights off at night. I usually stay in nicer hotels, so I can’t really compare this with other hostels or guest houses. There were still some bugs in the room, which could have been avoided with screens on the windows. The drapes only blocked some morning light. I’m used to hotel curtains that block all the light, so I can sleep in after a late night in Zadar's club scene. The top sheet was rough and low quality too. If those three things had been right, I think the 70 Euro price tag would have been worth it. Breakfast was so-so. There was a decent choice of hot tea, coffee with fresh creamer, lemonade, apples, bananas, sliced bread, butter, jam, yogurt, cheese slices, three kinds of sliced meat, and cold hard boiled eggs that seemed to be left over from the previous day.
