Ika Boutique Luxury Apartments

The apartment was spotless and ridiculously cute, with bold purple cabinetry and stools. We had a patio looking over the pool, and ended up sleeping in different rooms because there was room to do that. The owner or manager was so sweet and showed up just minutes after we pulled into the parking lot. We booked at the last minute and were glad we did. It was a short walk to the water, restaurants, and a bakery for a tasty pastry to take along. After dinner, the sunset from the pier was something else. I'd recommend it for couples, families, or solo travelers.

We spent a week in the top-floor apartment, which had two separate bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. The interior was stylish and nicely finished, and check-in instructions came through WhatsApp and were easy to follow. The pool was great, with bubbles from the jets and seating at one end, plus a covered place to sit nearby. It seems better suited to adults or teenagers than small kids who want to jump in.

The marina view from our apartment was lovely, and communication with the host was clear, with accurate information. Self check-in was really convenient. The location is a good balance: away from the centre but still walkable, and having private parking was a big help. Everything looked just like the listing, down to the small design details. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets were incredibly soft; the bathroom was comfortable too, with good shower pressure and temperature. We'd recommend it. A couple of small things could be better: there's nowhere to hang bath towels in the bathroom, and the kitchen only has one pan or pot, so cooking choices are limited.

The beach is about a 10-minute walk away, with a big coffee bar there, and there are a couple of good restaurants close by. We had a nice time in these spacious apartments, which had everything we needed, including two separate bathrooms with showers and a toilet. The pool was lovely, with warm, clean water. We did miss having a washing machine, though there is a laundromat in town. A good place for a family or small group to relax.
