You can only pay with money. The ground-floor studio is in an alley, and calling it luxury is overstating it. Noise from outside carries in, including people, cars, and especially the bakery’s ventilation system. The air conditioner also starts making an annoying sound after a few minutes. I still don’t get the glass WC door, especially as a sliding door. If you’re only seeing the city, without islands or tour boats, three or four hours is enough; you can come and go the same day.

Free parking, Wi-Fi, and lots of food options nearby made this place convenient, and we had everything we needed in the unit. The Old Town is within walking distance. If we’re back in Zadar, we’ll look for this place again.

A superb place in a great location!

The entrance to the old town is just over the bridge, and two grocery stores and a pharmacy are only steps away. The hosts also offer a complimentary drink at nearby Café Ponte. Inside, the freshly renovated room feels modern and spacious, with high ceilings, a good bed, and fresh-smelling linens and towels. The hostess was very welcoming. Being on the ground floor also meant no hauling our suitcase upstairs.

You’re just a few steps from Zadar’s old town, with the pedestrian bridge close by. The ground-floor apartment is very dark, though, and the bathroom is extremely small, especially with its door opening inward. I’d recommend it for a night or two.
