We spent two weeks here and had the best holiday ever. The quiet area is never overcrowded, and we could sleep well at night even with the balcony doors open. The beach is just across the road, with free sunbeds, parasols and beach towels, so there’s no need to go anywhere else. It’s a wonderful family business that gives you the best of Croatia. The hotel is comfortable for its size and impeccably clean, the restaurant is second to none, and the staff are so amiable it couldn’t be faked. We’ll definitely return for years to come. A huge thank you to the proprietors and all the staff. Can’t wait until next summer!

The staff were the standout, the friendliest and most helpful I’ve ever experienced. We spent three nights at this very pleasant hotel. The rooms were really nice and clean, and the breakfast and location were great too. If I come back to lovely Zadar, I’ll surely stay at Niko Hotel again.

The owners are incredibly friendly, polite and welcoming, and the service was great. The food was literally some of the best ever. Highly recommend, especially the pasta with scampi! 🙌🏼 The rooms are amazing too.

We enjoyed a relaxing three-night stay in this comfortable hotel. Its vintage feel and plush décor have a nostalgic appeal, and the neighborhood is quiet. The historic center is about 10 minutes away, and getting an Uber to Old Zadar was easy. Rooms were spotless, with comfortable beds that made a restful retreat after exploring. We also liked the beach just in front, with crystal-clear water. Reception staff were friendly and personable. Breakfast in the opulent dining room came with a wonderful view of the ocean and Zadar, and a range of fresh, local choices. The freshly prepared dishes made to order were the highlight. Parking at the hotel is free. We highly recommend it for the peaceful location, comfortable rooms, good value and delicious breakfast. It made our stay memorable.

Niko makes the best grilled fish I’ve had anywhere in the region. The fish is great quality, and the cooking gets a wonderful balance between smoky, crisp skin and delicate flesh. Even the blitva is amazing. They make this simple side dish taste really special.
