This has been my favorite apartment in Zadar since my first visit. I come every year and book ahead to make sure I get this particular room. The building is beautifully preserved, right in the old town's heart, and feels very safe. The decor is gorgeous, especially the purple, and it's a cozy place that feels like home. It works well for solo travelers like me, and for honeymooners too. The agents were lovely and accommodated all my requests at any hour. Parking can be an issue across the coast, since there isn't private parking in the old town. I had trouble with it, but they helped me find a comfortable spot for my rented Peugeot, just two minutes from the apartment. The walk was worth it, with a view of the poodle selling seashells with its owner on a parked boat in the marina. This year they remembered my details and set up a sweet birthday surprise in my room. Honestly, it was my best birthday ever. Can't wait to return.

We had such a good time here and would come back. The room was clean, right in the center of Zadar, but still quiet, and just right for our trip. Our host was lovely and shared lots of tips on places to see and restaurants.

The only thing I liked about the room was being right in central Zadar. This is private accommodation run by an agency, not a hotel. The room had a terrible smell. The main entrance looked unpleasant and was left unlocked, which made us feel unsafe. The air conditioning didn't work well, and the price felt high for a standard room with no facilities included, such as daily cleaning, a gym or pool, breakfast, or free parking. I was disappointed by the agent, who wouldn't give us a chance to ask anything and kept answering rudely. After I posted a review, they denied that I had booked or stayed in the room.

It felt like home, with a great location and staff who were welcoming and accommodating. The room was lovely, the bed super comfortable, and the air conditioning worked well.

The photos online look good, but they don't really capture the details. In person, the place is even more impressive, and it's a beautiful spot to stay in the heart of the old town.
