Tequila Bar Hostel - Adults Only

The hostel was spotless and well cared for, with housekeeping keeping the shared spaces and bathrooms clean. It's close to attractions and the beach, and the staff were friendly and always willing to help make my stay comfortable. I had everything I needed, including a fully equipped kitchen and a cosy lounge to unwind in and meet fellow travellers. I'd happily recommend it as a comfortable, affordable place to stay. Five stars!

The central location is the main draw, though music from the city centre can carry into the room at night and make it hard to sleep. The rooms are okay, but with eight people sharing one shower and toilet, those facilities could be kept in better shape. The reception staff are very friendly and willing to help.

There are better choices for the same price and location, so don't book this one. The room smelled of cigarettes, and the toilet and shower are shared by eight people, which means dirt and mess. Reception were mean, unhelpful, and very impolite.

We got upgraded to a studio apartment, which made our time in Zadar pleasant from the start. The studio was spotless, with very comfortable beds whose mattresses could be adjusted by remote, a well-equipped kitchenette, and a private bathroom with a floor-eating design. The hostel has been renovated, so ignore the nasty comments below. The staff are pure gold, helpful, kind, and professional. The price is really low, and I can't think of a single thing to complain about. It's the best hostel I've ever stayed in, and I highly recommend it to everyone.
