It felt safe here, including for my car, and I had a good stay. The owners were nice and looked after us. The apartment has its own entrance and is clean and pleasant, though it could use a few more things, like a kitchen hand towel or a manual coffee maker. There’s an automatic capsule machine, but you probably won’t have capsules with you. You can walk to the old town in about 15 minutes, and there’s parking. Lidl and coffee shops are nearby for groceries or a morning boost. I recommend staying at Villa Natalie 😀

Our airline cancelled our flight, so we couldn’t travel. We tried reaching the accommodation by message, email, and phone to discuss what to do, but got no response. Only after booking.com intervened did we hear back. They said there was no way to resolve the situation and they would keep all the money without any agreement. It wasn’t even high season, and I found that behavior disgusting.

The friendly hostess even taught us a few Croatian words. We stayed in apartment 2, which has a sunny balcony with comfortable chairs, a table, and a drying rack. Apartment 1 is next door; both places were occupied, and its balcony is roomier, with loungers and a parasol. The house is in a small cul-de-sac in a family-friendly area, with kids playing nearby. Each apartment has an accessible parking spot right by the house. Inside, the beds were comfortable and all the windows had shutters. There’s also a garbage disposal area around the house, though no dishwasher, as the listing clearly says. Washing things by hand was fine. It sometimes got noisy in the evening because of the thin walls, until about 10:30 pm, then it was quiet. The water also stopped working now and then, probably because of the heat in Dalmatia. That made it hard to plan around using the toilet or shower.

Villa Natalie was spotless and clearly well looked after, with all the equipment we needed. It’s near everything but still feels peaceful and quiet. We had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend it! :)
