Apartments Lucky Place

There was only one coffee pod and one bath towel for two guests, and no tea. The air conditioning kept switching off overnight, so we got quite hot. The “large” bed seemed closer to a king single, and the duvet was only single size. The overhead shower head was missing, while the hand shower sat too low for anyone but children or people of short stature. The power went off when we left the apartment, fridge included. At least the place only gave itself two stars.

The location was great, and even late at night the street was well lit. Communication was perfect, and although I was unsure about the entry process, getting in turned out to be easy. The apartment was clean, the AC and kitchen were great, and it was excellent value. I loved my stay and would definitely recommend it.

The location was good, and the apartment was small, as expected. The shower felt dangerously slippery, and after a 34-hour trip arriving once the shops had closed, I really wished there had been soap provided. The owner’s wife was helpful and answered our questions about the area. We felt safe with the security code and keys needed to get inside.

The apartment had a modern, cozy feel, a comfortable bed and a large bathroom with everything we needed. We couldn’t meet Srecko, but he seemed nice from our email exchanges. Getting inside with the entry system was easy and useful. It’s roughly a 20-minute walk to the city center, with a Spar nearby and a bakery for breakfast if you want to eat in. An extra chair for the kitchenette table would have been good. We stayed in June 2018.
