Best Western Premier Hotel Astoria

The staff were really friendly and helpful, and the hotel is close enough to walk into the city centre. There are lots of restaurants to choose from nearby, which was a bonus for us. Our room was spotless and comfortable, especially the excellent bed. I woke up without any back pain. Breakfast had plenty of choice and tasted good. They supplied both a chair and a bed for our toddler. There’s dedicated parking with easy access, though I’d load and unload at the main entrance.

Ban Jelačić Square and the main sights are close by, so it was easy to explore Zagreb on foot. I also appreciated the secure parking, and the baby corner was thoughtfully set up for guests with children. There was a varied selection of fresh, tasty food. The rooms and shared areas were kept immaculate throughout my stay. Staff were kind, professional, and ready to help whenever I needed something. I highly recommend Hotel Best Western Premier Astoria Zagreb for comfort, cleanliness, safety, and service in the heart of the city. 🌟

The included breakfast had an excellent range, and the staff were brilliant, especially at reception. The location is handy for the station and many city sights. The rooms are comfortable and perfectly adequate, though a little dated. They could use a refresh and more power points.

The unreliable, weak wifi was the main disappointment. You also have to shower in a small bathtub. Without those issues, I would have had a good stay. There were some nice things too: the hotel had old-world charm, the room was quiet, the bed was comfortable, parking was free, and breakfast had a good selection.
