The odor in the apartment was strong, partly moldy, and never cleared. The AC leaked, and the Wi-Fi regularly dropped in the evenings. On arrival, the floor hadn't been vacuumed, the bathroom was extremely dirty with hair, the table had crumbs, the carpet was badly stained, and the cutlery and kitchen were unhygienic. The toilet was dirty and barely flushed. Its button was already broken, but when it snapped off, I was made to pay for the damage. Even after I reported everything and the cleaner “tidied up,” the place remained unacceptable. The landlord's conduct made things worse. The older man at reception repeatedly insisted I discuss the problems only with him, not his son or anyone else, and kept telling me not to “tell others.” He called my private number excessively often, which felt like outright harassment and left me feeling monitored instead of able to relax. At checkout, he even complained I hadn't greeted him enough. I was charged for a night I couldn't sleep there at all because of the conditions. What I experienced felt like harassment, not a stay. I've visited Zagreb many times and always had good experiences before Casa V Apartment. This time I slept poorly, ended up coughing and feeling physically unwell, and my impression of Zagreb has completely changed. The positive reviews shouldn't mislead anyone who cares about cleanliness, privacy, and basic professionalism. If you expect even a minimum of cleanliness and respect, avoid this apartment.
