We left and stayed somewhere else because we didn't feel safe. The place is in a parking lot beneath a railway bridge, surrounded by abandoned buildings, and the neighborhood felt creepy even in the morning. The host also asked for an extra 10 euros because we arrived earlier than expected. The listing never made the location clear, and I wouldn't recommend this place.

The location takes some getting used to: the room is inside a parking lot that doesn't look very nice, though it felt safe. It's close to the Nikola Tesla museum and a student beer garden. The room itself is small but clean, and the kitchen has what you need. The bathroom was okay, though after showering the room felt humid.

The owner was friendly and gave me all the instructions I needed. Self check-in and check-out were easy, and parking right outside the door was a big plus. The place is in an odd-looking parking facility, but it seemed safe and there was nothing to worry about. Inside, the room had a good bed for us, an okay bathroom, and a little kitchen with everything needed to prepare food. There's a good bar about 100m away and fast food at 150m. The Tesla museum is right nearby and is a must visit. Downtown is a 15-minute walk, and the tram stop is close for getting around Zagreb. You can drive to Ljubljana SL in under 2h. Remember the Slovenian vignette and the 2 euros for the Zagreb highway. I'd recommend this place to couples visiting Zagreb.

In room 6, the shower holder was missing, and the screw holes had been filled, so you have to hold the shower head yourself. Water then floods the floor, which may explain the damage in the bedroom. The room was dated and smelled damp, apparently from water getting in, and the bed wasn't clean. I told the owner, but they didn't seem interested. I would pay more to stay somewhere else next time.
