Grand Hotel Zagreb

The spa looks new, modern and clean, but it was the coldest one I’ve ever visited. The Finnish sauna was the only part that got properly hot. The corridors, relaxation room and tea room were all chilly, with cold floors, so I kept rushing back and forth to the sauna just to warm up. It’s hard to relax when all the shared areas are so cold.

We stayed for two nights before flying out of Zargreb. It’s a great place and close to a large shopping mall.

Breakfast was the highlight for me, and easily the best I’ve had at a hotel. There was a wide choice, including fresh pastries, artisanal cheeses, quality cold cuts, fruit, milk for people with allergies, and international dishes, all presented beautifully. Grand Hotel Zagreb also impressed me with its comfortable beds and attractive rooms. As a seasoned traveler, I’ve stayed at hotels around the world, and the service here stood out. The team welcomed me warmly and stayed attentive, professional and genuinely hospitable throughout. They handled every request with a smile and went above and beyond to make the stay easy and enjoyable. Grand Hotel Zagreb offers luxury, comfort and excellent service. It would suit a business or leisure visit, and I highly recommend it.

We stayed a few nights while visiting family, and I’d happily come back when I’m in Croatia again. The hotel is beautiful, quiet, and elegantly designed, with modern, spotless rooms that have A/C, toiletries and a fully stocked minibar with chocolate bars. There’s a gym, places to relax and a restaurant. Breakfast had everything we wanted, from pastries and pancakes to cooked food, fruit and cheeses, so you won’t go hungry. It’s just off the motorway and in the city centre, with the centre itself a short drive or bus ride away. Thanks for a great stay.
