I planned on staying two nights, then somehow ended up here for six. The rooms were clean and good, drinks are available, you can make some food, and there's a pool right next door that's cheap and easy to get to. The center is less than a five-minute walk away. What made it such a great stay for me were hosts Luka and Dinko. If you show interest and chat with them, they really appreciate it, and I had a wonderful time. I also made some nice international friends, which was easy in the big room. It's a good fit for solo travellers and relaxed people who know what they're after and what they're paying for, or fancy a bit of adventure with some local influence. Take a small chance and talk to the locals, it's worth it. Best hostel experience I've had.

Dinko was such a friendly, kind guy, and we had some lovely evenings together. My class and I spent our graduation trip in Zagreb at his hostel, and we had a really nice time. For the low price, we got more than expected, including a nice breakfast and free pool access. Thanks for everything, Dinko. We'll come visit your hostel again!

The host was a very good guy who got us out of the storm, and his rakija was very good too.

The host and accommodation were both great. What you get matched the price perfectly.
