Hotel Dubrovnik

The location makes getting around easy, right in the pedestrian area between the Lower Town and Upper Town. Uber drops you about 100 meters from the entrance, and the walk is easy even with a lot of luggage. The hotel itself is very good, with great rooms.

We’d happily stay here again. The room and facilities felt like excellent value, and it stayed quiet at night even though we were right beside the main square. The location is a few steps from the square, trams, and shopping. Breakfast was a highlight, too. Everything was clean, and when we asked for another pillow it arrived within minutes. They also kept our bags while we explored after checkout.

We couldn’t control the room temperature or ventilation, and the windows don’t open. That was the downside. Otherwise, the hotel has a comfortable lounge on the second floor, a very good breakfast, and a third-floor gym with a treadmill, elliptical, stationary bike, a full range of dumbbells, and a weight machine. The rooms are a good size, with comfortable beds, a decent shower, robes, and an always-on heated towel rail. Shampoo, body wash, hand soap, and lotion are supplied, but there’s no hair conditioner. The main square and several trams are right nearby.

We could watch all the activity in the main square from our room, and the double glazing kept it from being noisy. The bed was comfortable, and the walk-in shower was great. Staff were friendly and helpful, and getting from the drop-off point to the hotel took an easy minute. It’s right on the square, probably the best spot in town.
