The bathroom was really nice, and the shower even better. They’d left two shampoo sachets and two glasses by the sink. Our room had two single beds, but no AC or Wi-Fi. The other room had AC and a double bed plus two singles. I showered and then passed out pretty quickly. There were plugs for charging phones and a TV, but I didn’t turn it on, so I can’t say if it works well.

The hostel staff are incredibly kind and friendly, always ready to help. Breakfast was very good for the price, with generous portions, and you can ask for a coffee while you eat, which I do. I booked a single room at a great price, and every room has its own bathroom. They also have wheelchair accessible rooms. If you need one, mention it when booking so staff can check whether a ground-floor room is available. The location is great, not far from the centre, and Arena centar, with lots of different stores, is only a few minutes away. You can find clothes, cosmetics, electronics or groceries nearby. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

It’s a 10-minute tram ride to the main square, with free parking, a reasonable price and a good breakfast. But the tracks are very close, so it’s noisy all day and night, and my bed was lumpy.

I come back regularly when I’m in Zagreb. I’m usually busy and only need somewhere affordable to sleep and shower, and this place works well for me.

The location is close to the centre and there’s parking. Breakfast was okay. It wasn’t very warm during our stay, so I can’t say what it would be like on a hot summer night without AC in the room.
