Hotel iNova

The shower was the biggest letdown. The first person got warm water, but when a second person showered soon after, it turned completely cold. At a 4-star hotel I'd expect reliable hot water. Breakfast also needs work: there was no fresh, grilled or cooked vegetables at all, and making tea meant pressing the coffee machine's hot water button repeatedly, getting only about 50 ml each time. A separate kettle or boiler would make more sense, especially for people who don't drink coffee. The rooms are beautifully furnished, with a modern, slightly fancy feel that made them comfortable to relax in after a day out. The staff were excellent throughout, helpful, friendly and welcoming. We had a pleasant stay at Hotel Inova in Zagreb, and with improvements to the hot water and breakfast, the experience could be much better.

I wasn't sure about staying right across from the bus station, but that doubt disappeared as soon as I came in. Sven was at the front desk, friendly and helpful, and stored my luggage. He also pointed me to a great Balkan restaurant within walking distance for lunch. The woman working the breakfast dining room was welcoming too. The room was nicely furnished, had plenty of outlets for devices, good lighting, and windows that opened for fresh air at night. The shower had great water pressure, and the price was reasonable. With the central bus station across the street and the tram to the city center right there, the location couldn't be more convenient. Highly recommend the hotel and its welcoming, helpful staff.

This newly built 4-star hotel is modern, very clean, and has a comfortable mattress. It's opposite the main bus station. Breakfast is recommended, but a bit short on choices and the same every day, which doesn't feel deserving of a 4-star rating.

The guy who helped me was incredibly friendly, I think his name was Sven. I was in Zagreb for a few days on business, and this brand-new-feeling hotel was modern and very hygienic. I'd definitely recommend it to everyone.
