Breakfast was excellent, with fresh-squeezed orange juice and cappuccino made to order. This is a comfortable boutique hotel in a central location, and my room was well equipped with a comfortable bed and quality linens. My only complaint is that the shower is tiny.

Rooms were clean, the breakfast was good, and the staff were friendly and spoke excellent English. Martina deserves a special mention for answering a million of my questions. I really enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend it, and I'll stay here again next time I'm in Zagreb. Someone else did mention that anyone with physical limitations climbing stairs may not want to stay here.

It's an older building, which gives the hotel some charm. The staff were always around when anything was needed, and everyone was amazing and made the stay even better. Highly recommend it if you're visiting Zagreb.

The hotel is nice, well located, and has the bonus of parking. Check-in was handled by a very friendly person, but the other desk staff member at checkout barely made eye contact and wasn't engaging at all. We also didn't appreciate being “suggested” a 5 euro tip to add to the bill. We never encountered that heavy-handed tipping trick anywhere else on our trip in Croatia.

The cafe was cosy, with several seating styles including sofas, and a wide range of local and international drinks plus some amazing hot chocolate. Service there was very good. The breakfast was relaxed, with fresh-squeezed orange juice and lovely bread, and the front desk was helpful in explaining how to get around. It's a wonderfully small hotel with very comfortable, adequate rooms, excellent winter heating, and a fantastic location. The Central Square is within a 5-minute walk.
