Hotel Sundial

I’d read really good comments and booked for one night, but we didn’t have a very good experience. Our first room was full of small bugs, so they moved us to a smaller one that was very clean. We’d specifically asked for a garden table when booking dinner at the hotel restaurant, but there wasn’t one available when we arrived. They did find us a table after we complained.

The hotel was a real help to my family and me, letting us rest and continue our journey safely. We’d been stuck on the highway without anywhere to stop when Bojana, your new employee, took our reservation by phone. The hotel is amazing, with breathtaking decor and landscaping. It’s all very clean, and the staff make you feel at home, or even better. The kids loved it and are still talking about how much better our stopover hotel was than our vacation hotel! Thanks again. I’ll definitely book again if I pass through Zagreb.

The staff are helpful and friendly, and the breakfasts are very good. I loved staying here and would strongly recommend the hotel. If you have small children, take them to the hotel playground. The only downside is the distance from the city center, though it’s a seven-minute drive if you have a car.

We found the hotel easily, and it was a great base for exploring Zagreb, with free parking on site. The staff were welcoming and let us check in six hours early. Our room was spotless, the bed was comfortable, and the temperature was easy to control. Room service was quick and friendly. Breakfast was simple but delicious, with plenty of fresh bread, cheese, cold cuts, or eggs. It set us up well for the day. We’d happily stay again if we come back to Zagreb. Thank you.
