The best part of Mendy’s Heritage Apartments is the location. Ban Jelačić Square, the Upper Town, cafes, restaurants, and Zagreb’s other main sights are all within walking distance. The hosts were exceptionally friendly and helpful, with useful tips on where to go, eat, and explore. It seems like a good fit for families or groups, with space for everyone, and could work for either a short trip or a longer stay. The apartment was spacious, very clean, and equipped with what we needed, including a full kitchen, comfortable bedding, and modern bathrooms. Its decor mixes contemporary and traditional touches, with local artwork and details that make it feel cozy. Large windows let in plenty of daylight. From arrival, the place felt warm and welcoming, and the historical architecture gives it a lovely sense of Zagreb’s heritage alongside the modern comforts. A fantastic choice for a visit to the city, with a memorable combination of location, quality, and hospitality.

Tihomir was a wonderful host, easy to reach, quick to respond, and a good communicator. The apartment was beautiful, clean, comfortable, and fully stocked. It’s just one block from the pedestrianized part of Old Town.

The booking process went nowhere after a promising start. I got a quick WhatsApp reply asking about our company, and after I explained our business they just said, “I understand, thanks.” I followed up and heard nothing, then tried again a week later and was told the apartments were already booked for our dates. The lack of engagement and misleading communication earns one star.

The location and host were great, and there were some thoughtful touches. My room was on the small side, though the foldout sofa was still handy. A very nice, comfortable place to stay.

I paid for a reservation for June 2025, but the place was closed when I arrived. No one answered my calls or emails, and I still haven't been reimbursed. I'd give zero stars if I could.
