The location was a real drawback. Without a car there’s practically nothing to do nearby, and the prices felt exorbitant, like elsewhere in Croatia, without the quality to match. The owner and service were generally pleasant, and breakfast was delivered to the door in fairly generous portions, though it got repetitive. Fine for a short stay, but for a longer visit the room could use an occasional cleaning.

Zero stars wasn’t an option, so I gave one. They weren’t helpful, and the way they replied was disrespectful. A real disappointment.

The room and what we actually got were nothing like what the pictures led me to expect. I booked through booking.com because of the nice photos and 9.1 rating, then received instructions saying no one would be there, I had to find the room by trying coded doors, and the “fabulous” breakfast would be left in a basket outside the room. I asked the owner to cancel. She said, “NO you can go to other hotel but I will be paid!” Booking.com wasn’t helpful, so we went anyway. It was very hard to find the place, and there were no signs in the dark. The air conditioner only worked like a fan, with no cooling. I’m an electronic engineer and know how to program one. There was no small fridge, so in 35°C we had to drink warm water. The breakfast left outside was maybe to the owner's taste, but not mine, and there wasn't any water, just a 750ml bottle for making coffee. The listing said there was a restaurant, but it was abandoned, with a spider in the photo. It also mentioned a water boiler and chocolate or biscuits in the room, but neither was there. The owner told me I should have read more carefully, though nowhere did it say the restaurant was closed, breakfast would be left out two hours before I ate it, or the air conditioning was faulty. Worst travel experience. It felt like a complete scam. Stay away.

The breakfast was better than we expected, and the rooms were beautiful. The place was also very clean.
