Movenpick Zagreb

Azra made our stay pleasant with really top-notch customer service. When a system glitch delayed check-in, she immediately offered us drink vouchers so we wouldn’t have to stand around waiting for it to reboot. The issue was fixed within minutes anyway. The hotel was beautiful, the staff were friendly and accommodating, and the location worked perfectly for us. Thanks, Azra.

This was our second stay here for business in Zagreb. The first time was excellent, but this visit had a few issues. I’d emailed ahead to ask for an iron and board and an extra pillow, but got no reply and assumed they’d be arranged like last time. They weren’t in my room, and our rooms had also been swapped with my colleague’s. Seattle room could use some attention too: the towel hanger was damaged, the curtain edge was loose, and the desk chair had stains.

Paula handled both check-in and check-out professionally and kindly, and got us a room quickly after our flight was cancelled and my toddler and I arrived without a reservation. We got a clean room on a high floor overlooking the main road and Lidl, just as I’d hoped. I liked the location, the bar, and the underground garage, especially with the snowfall, and it was a plus that the hotel wasn’t busy. The room had everything we needed. Breakfast let us down. My four-year-old likes fruit in the morning, but some melon smelled bad and tasted old. The next day’s breakfast box had very crumbly bread that tasted three or four days old, so I couldn’t finish my sandwich. We were still satisfied with Movenpick and would return. Thanks to Paula for being so helpful.

We’re back for our second stay at Mövenpick Zagreb and are very happy with it. The location suits us because our business is in Arena Centar. The rooms are modern, clean, and comfortable, the staff are friendly, and the food is good. Everything was top notch, thank you!
