We loved being in the center. Coming out onto Octagon Square felt magical, and we could reach almost everything in Zagreb on foot. The apartment is on the 4th floor, up lovely marble stairs, so be prepared for the climb. Inside it was quiet despite being downtown, with newly finished rooms and Ikea touches. There were a few problems: the air conditioner wasn't working when we arrived, though Marco fixed it quickly; we couldn't get to the laundry machine; and the wifi details were wrong. On our last day, we lost hot water completely. The owner replied helpfully to messages through Booking, which helped sort out some things, but the place could use a few small repairs and updated instructions. It's a lovely place if you're fine with the stairs and can handle a few surprises.

We spent Easter weekend in this beautiful city. The apartment is in an attractive building on one of Zagreb's main streets, only steps from the main square. You enter the hall through a shopping arcade. It's recently renovated, tastefully furnished, and quite comfortable. It's on the top floor with no elevator, though, and the stairwell is in poor condition. That made the first impression less than ideal.

I slept well, and the apartment was very quiet, with a good mattress and pillows. Its central location is perfect for exploring on foot, with cafes and restaurants downstairs. The apartment is equipped and fairly clean, but the stairwell needs maintenance and looks abandoned. It's on the 4th floor without an elevator. There was a cockroach and a lot of dust under the beds, so that area needs a proper overhaul.
