Palace Hotel

The location is close to everything but still peaceful. My room was spotless, stylish, comfortable, and had all the amenities I needed. Breakfast was tasty and had plenty of variety, and the staff were kind, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Palace, would highly recommend it and love to return! ☺️

Getting there was simple, with the tram stop right across from the hotel, and the main centers are an easy walk away. Reception welcomed us warmly, checked us in quickly, and marked the tourist spots on the map. The standard rooms aren't large, but they're comfortable; the bathroom is spacious and has all the essentials. As a vegetarian, I didn't think breakfast was great, though it was enough to leave me full. Management could add a few more options. The staff were very helpful, apart from a small mix-up over a package I was expecting, caused by a writing mistake in an email reply in English. I got the package later thanks to the Croatian DHL office. All in all, it's the best place to stay in Zagreb!

The traditional feel and calm atmosphere made it easy to relax here without feeling intruded on. My room was cleaned promptly after I left in the morning, and the food was good. When my luggage was left in Paris and arrived 24 hours later, the reception staff were supportive and helpful. Clean, comfortable rooms and welcoming staff too. It's very pleasant and competently run, with a delightful old-fashioned feel, but without being slick. Thank you very much indeed.

We came for the 2018 World Junior Synchronized Skating Championships during March Break. The included breakfast buffet was very nice, and the staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. It's an older-style hotel with lots of modern amenities, right in Zagreb's tourist district and within walking distance of almost everywhere. The central lobby has an amazing stained-glass ceiling.
