The location worked perfectly, on a quiet street but only a two-minute walk from the main square. The spacious room had lovely decor with unique art, a big comfortable bed, and a really cool vintage-style refrigerator. The hostess was kind and shared welcome recommendations for the area. Getting in touch before arrival was easy and pleasant.

I stayed here three years ago and only realised today, when I came back to zagreb, that I’d never left a review. Irena was an incredible host, and the room was beautiful. Even with its location, it was super quiet. Highly recommend.

The owners were so sweet and always looked after us. The room had everything we needed to be comfortable, and it was large and practical. It was very clean too, with a huge, comfortable bed. The apartment is close to everywhere. 🎄♥️

Irena was very welcoming, and her place deserves all the great reviews and the Lonely Planet writeup. The room made a perfect base for exploring Zagreb, with a kettle and mini fridge. It backs onto a lively street lined with restaurants, and I could easily walk to most attractions, including the 80s museum and Museum of Broken Relationships. I’d absolutely return.
