The location is handy, with good public transport links, but the apartment is right by a busy street with trams, and you can hear the traffic at night. The shower enclosure doesn’t seal properly. Parking is a headache: it’s in Zone 1, charged by the hour, and the daily ticket costs 13.3 euros, but there’s nowhere to find one nearby, so you’re left wondering what to do with your car. The owner, agency, or whoever manages it seemed pretty indifferent. They could have mentioned the public garage on Martićeva, about 500m away, where a daily ticket costs 6.6 euros. Since Booking censors negative comments, I’m leaving this here.

The tram noise was so bad we couldn’t sleep. The place was dirty and untidy, the bed linen hadn’t been changed, and there were no clean sheets. The landlady didn’t answer our calls.

The city center is about a 20-minute walk away, and there’s street parking. Everything is arranged by email, from the reservation and apartment keys to the billing.
