Zagreb Soul Hostel

It's an okay hostel with the basic things covered, but nothing that really stands out. With 27 rooms, the kitchen is pretty small and there's only a little space to cook. Bring your own toilet paper if you stay here.

This is a simple, affordable hostel that feels worth the price. The rooms are clean, the kitchen is small but has equipment, and some rooms have air conditioning. Just don't expect everyone to be able to cook at once in a high-capacity place.

I slept well, and the location is great. The man who checked me in was really nice and helpful. Still, I felt like I was intruding in the college students' space, since these are student apartments. The kitchen gets crowded and the fridges are so full there's no space for your food, maybe they need two kitchens. They should also tell guests ahead of time that there's no toilet paper.

I've stayed in plenty of hostels, and this was the worst in a long time. The place was dirty, with urine stains still on a toilet seat after cleaning, and I even shared my shower with at least one bug. You can only hope there's toilet paper, since they don't seem to treat it as a basic hostel need. The staff were unfriendly and unwilling to do more than the bare minimum.
