Zest and Nest Boutique Apartments

We were there for one night and absolutely loved it. Zest and Nest Apartment was spotless, cozy, and nicely decorated, with everything we needed to be comfortable. The location was good, and communication with the host was friendly and straightforward. We’d happily stay again, highly recommended!

We had a frightening experience late at night. While we were asleep, a man with a key forcibly opened the Prelude bedroom door without our permission. The door couldn’t be double locked from inside while occupied, so anyone with a key could come in. The security is really bad, and I wouldn’t recommend this accommodation to any woman traveling alone. 😥😡 The building is very old and the interior hasn’t been maintained well. If you have a large suitcase, you have to carry it up the stairs to the second floor, which is inconvenient. We paid €157 for one night for four people, and it wasn’t worth the money. The Mint Boutique Studio or Fingerprint Tree Apartment nearby would be better options.

The apartment was perfectly clean, and the host was responsive. There’s private parking too. It’s in the city centre, close to Ilica but not right on Zagreb’s main street, so it stays quiet and peaceful. I loved the balcony overlooking trees and the hills in Zagreb, especially for a relaxed breakfast. A cozy place with a beautiful balcony.

The rooms were good, but I picked this place for the parking and balcony, and neither was there. You can park in the street, like in any city. I smoke, so I had to go downstairs to the "garden". There was no chair or lighting.
