The receptionist was really friendly, but I would've given this place zero stars if I could. The room wasn't clean: there was dust in and on the wardrobe, paper and more dust under the bed, water damage to the bed, water stains on the wall, and some damaged furniture. The room smelled of insect repellent. The bed was painfully hard, with every spring noticeable, and one window had broken glass, which seemed like a serious injury risk. There were only sheets, no blankets, and the pillows were hard and flat, around 2 inches or 5 cm high. The free WLAN didn't reach well enough across the hotel, so I had to search around the room to find a signal. I got no discount or anything, and the problem I'd reported wasn't fixed.

Right by the hotel there's a supermarket, an ATM, and a nice grill restaurant, so the location is excellent. The owner is very attentive and friendly, and hostel guests get 10% off at the restaurant next door, plus their first drink free, whatever they order. The rooms were clean but quite basic for the price, and nothing special. The food was delicious, though a little too sophisticated when you just want something normal. Fine for a night or two 🤠

The staff were friendly, but the rooms were only so-so and could use a renovation. Smoke from the nearby grill restaurant kept drifting into the room because it has no hood. I'd really appreciate the owners putting even a basic fan in the room.
